Trenchless Pipe Repair in a Raw Water Line

HydraTech completed a trenchless pipe repair at a Colorado water treatment facility using HydraTite® Internal Pipe Joint Seals to rehabilitate a leaking raw water transmission line. Working inside 36-inch and 42-inch steel pipe, our crew installed ten seals to eliminate leaks, repair offset joints, and address failing liner conditions, all without excavation.

This project required confined space entry through a butterfly valve, the use of stainless steel backing plates to seal irregular defects, and epoxy application to protect exposed pipe from corrosion. The main project was completed in just two days, this internal pipe joint sealing solution restored system integrity and ensured reliable operation of critical water infrastructure.
