Setting clear, challenging goals can feel daunting but is key to achieving professional success and personal fulfillment, with research showing that writing them down increases success rates by 42% and drives greater effort and focus. Even when goals are missed, the pursuit builds skills and persistence, leading to growth over time, as evidenced by studies like one in 2010 showing students with academic targets still improved their grades compared to those without.

Our HydraTite seal is the perfect solution for compromised points in a man-entry-sized pipe, but for small-diameter pipe, we manufacture our HydraLock seal which is installed remotely with a mechanical packer.

An HOA in Florida faced recurring sinkhole problems due to groundwater and soil infiltration in their stormwater drainage system, leading them to consider solutions like pipe replacement, lining, or joint sealing. They ultimately chose the HydraTite Internal Pipe Joint Seal for its efficiency in sealing 22 pipe joints, successfully withstanding high water pressure and preventing further I&I issues.

A leaking construction joint in an elevated aqueduct was causing water to drip onto a highway, with previous repair attempts using cementitious grouts and mastics failing due to structural movement. The issue was resolved by installing a custom-designed HydraTite internal joint seal, which used an EPDM membrane and stainless steel components to create a durable, watertight seal, effectively stopping the leak and returning the aqueduct to service in two days.

The challenge was to seal the joints between the concrete inlet and outlet headways of this 13ft diameter reinforced concrete pipe. The solution involved installing our HydraTite internal pipe joint seals made from EPDM rubber with stainless steel retaining bands, which were fitted and air-tested in an 8-hour workday to ensure no leaks.

To address external corrosion on a 14-inch high-pressure gas transmission line, the HydraWrap® Structural Composite Repair System was employed, using four layers of carbon fiber to repair areas with significant wall loss. The process involved grit blasting the pipe surface, applying an epoxy primer, and then wrapping it with saturated HydraWrap® carbon fiber to restore and extend the pipe’s service life.

Extra-Wide HydraTite Seal installed over a pipe joint, 'Restoring A Stromwater Pipeline, Quickly & Effectively'

A steel mill faced contamination in its stormwater pipeline due to compromised joints allowing debris and contaminants to infiltrate, prompting the use of a trenchless solution, extra-wide HydraTite seals. After cleaning debris and installing 66 seals over three weeks, the joints were fortified against leaks, eliminating contaminant infiltration in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner.

A sanitary pipe that has been wrapped in carbon fiber fabric, 'Wrapping A Pipe Despite A Wet Environment'
Pipes have been vital to infrastructure since the ancient Minoans installed underground systems around 2700 BCE, with traditional maintenance involving costly excavation until the 20th century introduced trenchless technologies like sliplining, grouting, cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), pipe bursting, and internal pipe joint seals, each offering unique benefits and limitations. The trenchless repair market, currently valued at $4.12 billion and projected to grow to $6.48 billion by 2030, is dominated by CIPP (46.7% share) with ongoing innovations like UV curing and AI-driven failure prediction poised to further transform the industry.
