A newly installed 24″ cement mortar drinking water pipe with mechanically restrained joints leaked when pressure-tested. HydraTite was installed, eliminating the need to replace the entire length of brand-new leaking piping.

An inspection of a cast-in-place conduit from the early 1920s revealed 3 active leaks. This pipe was approximately 90″ in diameter and was not perfectly concentric, incorporating a slightly flattened invert. HydraTite functioned as a quick solution that would cause minimal disturbance and downtime.

Let’s make 2025 an even better year than 2024!

This application involved the installation of three double-wide HydraTite seals over a transition from the end of a GRP sliplined section to the host PCCP. This installation looks different from other installations due to the dramatic difference in the diameters on either end of the seal.

These twin culverts had many compromised joints that were offset and separated. HydraTite was installed over 28 joints in only 16 on-site hours. This remediation did not affect traffic on the above road.

In a recent project, HydraTech’s crew climbed into two culverts to install HydraTite Internal Pipe Joint Seals over every pipe joint. One location had a single 54″ culvert and the other was a triple 39.5″ culvert. In total 45 joints were sealed. This installation will guard against infiltration and will help protect the road above from the formation of sinkholes.
